Reading Is A Window To The World

The BSH Library is a wonderful place to develop a love for reading and research. We have a large collection of books for all ages, and a weekly library program for grades Pre-Kindergarden through 5th grade, including Accelerated Reader. Classes in 6th grade and up come in as needed for targeted research, or to find leisure and parallel reading material. We also house a large video collection, newspapers, archived as well as current magazines, projectors and audiovisual equipment for teacher use, and four computers for online research and word processing. We host book fairs throughout the year. There is a lot of reading, learning and growth that goes on in the library! Whether you are a three year old or an eighteen year old, we are confident that our library will serve you well.

Our Library hours are as follows:

Monday - Friday 7:50-3:15

Policies:

Pre-Kindergarden through 3rd grade may checkout one book and it is due within a week. 4th and 5th graders may checkout two books, also due back within a week. If a book is not returned, the student will not checkout a new book that week. 6th grade and up may checkout multiple books, and for two weeks at a time.

Students will need to renew a book if they would like to keep it longer. To renew a book, it must be brought to the library during library time.

Books that are lost will need to be paid for by check or cash, and a notification slip will be sent home with your child.

Thank you and HAPPY READING!
