Football State Championships

Dear Parents:

It’s difficult to imagine, but the holidays are just around the corner.  Please remember that next week we have noon dismissal on Tuesday, November 22 and the school will be closed November 23-25.

We will have a Pep Rally on Friday at 2:15 to celebrate BSH playing for the State Championship.  Friday will be blue and gray day.  Students may wear jeans with appropriate blue and gray tops and sweatshirts.  Any student not participating in blue and gray day is expected to be in school uniform.  Those prep and high school students not complying will be required to be in Full-Dress uniform the following week.

The football team will play the Gators of Greenbriar Christian at 7 pm here at BSH.  Please support the team as they chase another State Title.  The gate proceeds must go to the State, so entrance is $5 for everyone six and older, that includes BSH students.

The Annual Fund mailer should be hitting your mailbox this week.  Our goal is 100% support from our families.  A number of our parents will be following up with phone calls starting this week through December 2nd.

We are actively promoting our Scrip program.  You should have received a flyer with information on placing orders on-line or with Donna Case.  Please purchase these gift cards for your own shopping needs and to give as gifts for Christmas.  The school receives a percentage of each gift card ordered.

The 6th graders will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on December 2nd and 3rd prior to the drama production on those nights.  Order forms will be coming soon in the blue folders.

Members of the Latin Club will be attending the National Junior Classical League Convention this weekend in downtown Richmond.

Please join us in welcoming a new family to BSH, John and Renee Topolosky.  Their son Sagan Topolosky joins Mrs. Longest in the 5-day preschool class.

Sincerely,
