Fall Festival, Big Brother/Sister and more...

Dear Parents:

We are still looking for volunteers for the Fall Festival on October 29.  Please feel free to contact Erin Kemp at briankemp29@earthlink.net . Donations are being accepted for the auction gift baskets and Knights Bazaar.  Please drop your donations in front of room 209 for Knights Bazaar, and leave your auction basket donations in the front office.  Additionally, we are in need of baked items for the Cake Walk.  Please plan to deliver these on Thursday or Friday, before or after school and Saturday morning.  Any type of baked good or large candy bars is greatly appreciated!

Fall Festival tickets will be on sale this week in the cafeteria.  The Tag Day pass is $5 and the Tag Day will be November 2.

This Thursday, October 27 is Big Brother/Big Sister Field Day from 2-2:45 on the football field.  Parents are welcome, but we ask that you not engage with your children during this time.  The program goal is for the older students to serve as a positive role model for the younger students.

Remember that winter uniforms start on Tuesday, November 1st.  This will also be a mass day at St. John Neumann  .  Please feel free to join us at church.

Winter Uniform consists of the following:   Girls’ Winter Uniform (Pre-School through 2nd grade) Uniform plaid jumper or Navy uniform slacks.

(3rd through 5th grade)  Uniform plaid kilt or navy uniform slacks, white uniform polo or white turtleneck, red uniform sweater or fleece, navy socks or tights, loafers, docksiders or tie shoes.

Boys’ Winter Uniform:  Navy uniform slacks, white uniform polo or white turtleneck, red uniform sweater or fleece, navy socks, loafers, docksiders, or tie shoes.

Thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors and players that made the Tom Connelly Golf Tournament a success.  The event raised $12,700.  We could not have done it without your support!

November 3 is picture make-up day.

Please welcome Christopher and Susan Cumber and their four children, Jake-7th grade, Kate-6th grade, Emily-4th grade, and Megan-3rd grade.  They will start on Monday, October 24.  You can contact them at 3824 Otterdale Road, Midlothian 23112 and by phone at 804-245-6571.

Sincerely,
